Cool Dog Training, Inc. was founded in 2001. We pride ourselves on being professional trainers and are members of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers where an on-going education is essential to success.
Lynne
Dog
trainer and behaviorist, Lynne Sorrentino is the instructor
for classes and holds private sessions for special needs,
such as aggression. Her role as an educator is aimed at
helping people understand their pets and teaching how to get a calm, well mannered dog. Cool Dog
Training was founded in 2001 and focuses on working with families and
their dogs bringing them together for better lives. As with many good
dog trainers, they learn from other good dog trainers... and Lynne has
studied under some of the best: notably Patricia McConnell, PhD, Dr.
Ian Dunbar, Trish King, Donna Duford, Karen Pryor and John
Rogerson. As an active member of
Association of Pet Dog Trainers, her education is a continuing
commitment. She lives in Temecula, California, with her Vizsla, Deogi
and her Doberman Pincher, Stella.
Rachel
Rachel Petricka oversees our Day Care Services where her superb skills
in reading a dog's body language and play signals makes playtime safe
and fun for your dog. Rachel has been with Cool Dog Training, Inc. for
two years. Her broad experience with dogs includes raising four puppies for Canine Support Teams,
an organization which trains service dogs for people with disabilities.
She raised each puppy until it was one and a half years old, taking
them out in public and teaching them basic obedience. These dogs are
now assisting their disabled owners reliably. In
her
spare time, Rachel has a pet-sitting and dog-walking business, Rachel's
Pet Services. She takes care of pets at their own homes as well as
welcoming them into her home while their owners are away. She is a
member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, and is studying to
become a puppy trainer. Rachel has two dogs - Molly, a Chocolate
Lab and Sadie, a Golden Retriever. Influences
